Who we are
Hive Tycoon is made by Disco Disko, a one-person game studio in Denmark run by N3LOZZO. Disco Disko is the data controller for this game. Contact: contact@discodisko.com.
The short version
- You don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or location. Your game progress is saved on your own phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads. In the EU, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first.
- Reminders (a full hive, finished research, the daily gift) are scheduled on your phone and never leave it.
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase) help us fix bugs and improve the game. They don't use your advertising ID, and you can turn them off in the game's settings.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
What the game stores on your phone
Your honey, buildings, upgrades, research, settings and similar game progress are saved in the app's storage on your phone. This data is never sent to us. If backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android includes it in your phone's backup to your Google account, so it can come back when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone. You can also copy a "save code" in the game's settings; it stays wherever you put it. If you uninstall the game or clear its data without a backup or save code, the progress is gone.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The game uses Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the EU/EEA and by Google LLC elsewhere, to show optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch one for a bonus) and occasional full-screen ads between play sessions. To do this, Google's ads software collects data such as:
- your device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version),
- how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data such as crash logs from the ads software.
Google uses this to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can say no, and you will then see general ads that don't use your past activity. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings › Google › Ads on most Android phones). If you buy "Remove ads", the game stops showing ads.
Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:
- a random ID for this installation of the game (not your advertising ID, which the game tells Firebase not to collect),
- game events, such as finishing the first steps, reaching a new era, crowning a new queen, watching a rewarded ad or buying an item,
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, country, app version) and how long and how often you play,
- crash reports and error messages, with the state of the game when it crashed.
We use this only to find bugs and to see which parts of the game people enjoy or get stuck on. We don't use it for advertising, and ad personalisation signals are turned off. Google processes the data for us and keeps it for up to 14 months (statistics) or 90 days (crash reports). You can turn both off at any time with "Share anonymous usage stats" in the game's settings. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your phone, for example when your hive is full or the daily gift is ready. They are created and shown by your phone alone; no data is sent anywhere. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy. We don't receive your payment details. Google Play tells the game only which items you own, so it can unlock them. To stop fake purchases, the game may send the item's name and Google's purchase token to a small server of ours (run on Cloudflare), which asks Google whether the purchase is real. The token doesn't contain your name, email or payment details, and the server doesn't store it. Refunds are handled in your Google Play account.

Children
Hive Tycoon is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has used the game and personal data was collected through the ad service, write to us and we will help.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data about you, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent. We hold no data that tells us who you are. Most requests are handled by deleting the game's data on your phone, by turning off usage stats in the game's settings, or with Google for ad data. Write to contact@discodisko.com if you want us to delete the usage statistics for your installation; include the date you installed the game. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If we change how the game uses data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.

Hvad spillet gemmer på din telefon
Din honning, dine bygninger, opgraderinger, forskning, indstillinger og lignende fremgang gemmes i appens lager på din telefon. Data sendes aldrig til os. Er sikkerhedskopi slået til i telefonens indstillinger, tager Android dem med i telefonens sikkerhedskopi til din Google-konto, så de kan komme tilbage, når du geninstallerer spillet eller skifter telefon. Du kan også kopiere en "gemmekode" i spillets indstillinger; den bliver, hvor du lægger den. Afinstallerer du spillet eller sletter dets data uden sikkerhedskopi eller gemmekode, er fremgangen væk.
Reklamer (Google AdMob)
Spillet bruger Google AdMob, som leveres af Google Ireland Limited i EU/EØS og af Google LLC i resten af verden, til at vise valgfrie belønningsreklamer (du vælger selv at se en for en bonus) og en gang imellem en reklame på hele skærmen mellem spil. For at gøre det indsamler Googles reklamesoftware oplysninger som:
- enhedens reklame-id,
- din IP-adresse og den omtrentlige placering, der kan udledes af den,
- oplysninger om enhed og app (model, styresystem, sprog, appversion),
- hvordan du bruger reklamerne, og diagnosedata som fejllogs fra reklamesoftwaren.
Google bruger det til at vise og måle reklamer og forhindre snyd. Er du i EU/EØS, Storbritannien eller Schweiz, beder spillet om dit samtykke gennem Googles samtykkeformular, før der vises tilpassede reklamer. Du kan sige nej, og så ser du generelle reklamer, der ikke bruger din tidligere aktivitet. Du kan nulstille eller slette dit reklame-id i telefonens indstillinger (Indstillinger › Google › Annoncer på de fleste Android-telefoner). Brugsstatistik og fejlrapporter (Google Firebase)
Spillet bruger Google Analytics for Firebase og Firebase Crashlytics. De indsamler:
- et tilfældigt id for denne installation af spillet (ikke dit reklame-id, som spillet beder Firebase om ikke at indsamle),
- hændelser i spillet, fx at du er færdig med de første trin, når en ny æra, kroner en ny dronning, ser en belønningsreklame eller køber noget,
- oplysninger om enhed og app (model, styresystem, sprog, land, appversion), og hvor længe og hvor ofte du spiller,
- fejlrapporter og fejlbeskeder med spillets tilstand, da fejlen skete.
Vi bruger det kun til at finde fejl og se, hvilke dele af spillet folk kan lide eller går i stå ved. Vi bruger det ikke til reklamer, og signaler til tilpassede reklamer er slået fra. Google behandler data for os og gemmer dem i op til 14 måneder (statistik) eller 90 dage (fejlrapporter). Påmindelser
Tillader du notifikationer, planlægger spillet påmindelser på din telefon, fx når bikuben er fuld, eller den daglige gave er klar. De laves og vises af din telefon alene; ingen data sendes nogen steder hen. Du kan altid slå dem fra i telefonens indstillinger.
Køb i appen
Køb håndteres af Google Play efter Googles egen privatlivspolitik. Vi modtager ikke dine betalingsoplysninger. Google Play fortæller kun spillet, hvilke ting du ejer, så det kan låse op for dem. For at stoppe falske køb kan spillet sende tingens navn og Googles købsnøgle (purchase token) til en lille server, vi har hos Cloudflare, som spørger Google, om købet er ægte. Nøglen indeholder ikke dit navn, din e-mail eller dine betalingsoplysninger, og serveren gemmer den ikke. Refusion sker i din Google Play-konto.

Børn
Hive Tycoon er ikke rettet mod børn under 13 år, og vi indsamler ikke bevidst personoplysninger om dem. Tror du, at et barn har brugt spillet, og at reklametjenesten har indsamlet personoplysninger, så skriv til os, så hjælper vi.
Dine rettigheder
Efter GDPR har du ret til indsigt, berigtigelse og sletning af personoplysninger om dig, til at gøre indsigelse og til at trække dit samtykke tilbage. Vi har ingen data, der fortæller os, hvem du er. Det meste klares ved at slette spillets data på telefonen, ved at slå brugsstatistik fra i spillets indstillinger eller hos Google for reklamedata. Skriv til contact@discodisko.com, hvis du vil have os til at slette brugsstatistikken for din installation; skriv gerne, hvilken dato du installerede spillet. Du kan også klage til Datatilsynet.

Ændrer vi, hvordan spillet bruger data, opdaterer vi denne side og datoen øverst, før ændringen træder i kraft.
